Ama Dablam

Ama Dablam is located in the Everest area and is one of the most prestigious peaks in the world. It is the "mountaineer's dream" because it has it all- vertical rock, ice, glaciers, crevasses, large snow fields, 3 camps, ice walls, and high altitude. This is a perfect peak for those looking to see if they are ready for an 8000M peak or looking for that "ultimate climb".  


ITINERARY

Day 01: Pick up from Airport* (Premiere and Classic Packages) and arrive at hotel in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft)

Day 02: Orientation and shopping in Thamel for final supplies* (Premiere and Classic Packages)  and visit Swambu Cultural Site* (Premiere Package)

Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2,800m/9,184ft) then trek to Phakding (2,652m/8,700ft): 40 min flight, 3-4 hours trek

Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft): 5-6 hours

Day 05: Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,283 ft): acclimatization

Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Debuche (3,718 m/ 12,200 ft): 5-6 hours

Day 07: Debuche to Dingboche (4,410m/14,464ft): 5-6 hours

Day 08: Acclimatization

Day 09: Dingboche to Ama Dablam Base Camp (4570m/15000ft): 5-6 hours

Day 10: Acclimatization and Pre-climb training at Ama Dablam Base Camp

Day 11-25: Ascending and Descending of Ama Dablam (6812m/22343.36ft)

Day 26-27: Trek to Lukla

Day 28: Fly back to Kathmandu

Day 29: Visit Pashupati and Boudhanath World Heritage Sites* (Premiere Package) and leisure day in Kathmandu

Day 30: Airport drop for return to home country (Premiere and Classic Packages)
