On May 26th,2025, Phurpoo and his trekking team went to his hometown and childhood school to donate warm jackets for the students. Phurpoo’s hometown is in a very remote area of Nepal. The area is way up in the mountains and the winters there are brutal. The jackets helped the students at his childhood school keep warm in the harsh winters. The villagers, students and staff were all very thankful to Phurpoo and praised him for not forgetting his roots and giving back to the community he grew up in. A very heartwarming moment for all that witnessed it. Phurpoo wishes to continue these efforts to help not just his community and his hometown but to help other parts of the Himalayas as most of the Himalayas are very remote and have harsh winters.
